They are quite able to play at masterful tournaments but meanwhile they show their billiard skills once a year at the tournament devoted to the Day of Militia. The brainchild of the Kirov Section of IPA took roots in the law-enforcement sphere. And now military men spend their time at pools with skill. For the great 5 years this tournament has never lacked people. But this year the number of participants beat all the records. Billiard fans join skilled masters with pleasure. Because celebration of a professional holiday is a strong reason to come to the club. But recruits do not dare to act rushly. Only a few enter the tournament at once. The rest prefer to play mentally. In other words they make billiard investigation – should they take a cue or not. |
| There cannot be trifle things in billiards. Everything plays its role – from clothes to mood. The main stroke instrument takes a special place, and participants treat it as a trophy weapon. They fondle and coddle it, so that there won’t be an annoying misfire at the right moment. But even ideal fighting readiness does not guarantee success in billiard. | By tradition birthday men – the 1st president of KR RS IPA, deputy of the State Duma Alexey Rosuvan and the head of the local department of the Counternarcotic Actions Administration Sergey Rashev were congratulated at the tournament. A pilot-cosmonaut, already a muscovite Victor Savinykh also “landed” to meet the friendly party. This year Vladimir Kornilov got the victorious palms of the tournament. He will bear a champion title till the next Day of Militia. And his colleagues will dream about the time when the billiard king will change. But as usual in friendly and celebratory environment. |
