The traditional 17th spring billiard tournament (Russian pyramid) took place at the long-awaited May weekends. As usual, this sport event was confined to the celebration of the Victory Day.
More than 100 members of the Kirov regional branch of the IPA gathered in the club named "Noviy mir» on 2 and 3 May.
By tradition, the honorary president of the association Alexey Rozuvan made an address at the opening of the event. Alexey Mikhailovich began his speech with congratulation with the most important holiday - Victory Day and also wished all participants to have a successful tournament. The head of the Legislative Assembly of Kirov region Alexey Ivonin and the president of Kirov regional branch of Police Association Nikolay Koshcheev also addressed the audience their warmest congratulations.
Andrey Domnin, who is a well-respected and beloved person, was appointed as the chief referee of the billiard tournament. The organizers of this event claim that the honor guests had a great opportunity to spend time in the atmosphere of celebration and contend for attractive prizes. Excitement, technical and tactical elegancy, player's skill to manage his own emotions and knowledge of special etiquette of the game, combination of all these factors is the necessary condition for victory. The culture of the billiard match assumes that all participants, including the audience, create an atmosphere of the sport festival, which is important for all members of Kirov regional branch of the IPA.
As a result, the event ended with the awarding ceremony, presentation of commemorative prizes and, of course, excellent mood.
Garusov Sergey, Petukhov Stanislav and Kuznetsov Andrey became winners in their playing groups.
We are pleased that the tradition of billiard tournaments is successfully developing, and uniting with common goal all members of the International Police Association.
