Airsoft is the command, military-sports game. Generally, this game involves two or more teams. In various countries and different games are different rules. The essence of the game is the team carrying out its tasks in compliance with the scenario rules. Mentally balanced citizens not residing in a state of alcohol or drugs allowed to play.

Airsoft originated in Japan after World War II, when the Japanese lost not only the army, but also the rights of ownership with automatic weapons. The terms of surrender was necessary to comply with but to work out the tactics of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces have come up with a toy «weapons» that is "fired"  with plastic balls. Instead of the powder charge was used compressed gas having a lower energy , which allowed to carry out tactical exercises without the risk of loss of trainees.

There are several types of games with different objectives, venue, cycling equipment, the requirements of the participants, and so on. Big games - are primarily an annual Opening and Closing airsoft season, as well as some themed game. This year the opening of the season in Kirov began with the play "Territory", held as part of the movement "The Patriot." The event was attended by over 120 people. With solemn speech delivered  the President of the Kirov regional office  IPA Koshcheev N.V. and  the  Director of the College of the Law Sharipov I.M . Nikolay V. noted that the development of this game has a positive effect on the patriotic education of youth.

All the players were divided into two groups - Russia and NATO. According to legend, russian troops had to save their country and evacuate people into a safe place. Teams differed with equipment and armament. During the game external copies of existing armaments  were used. These copies are not weapons, it is a soft air, the fire was plastic balls. Besides, there were  used simulation of explosive devices, without the pyrotechnic components. Part of these devices was activated by means of electronic timers, one of them - means a mobile phone. In the end the game ended in a draw. Team Russia completed the task, but all members were destroyed.

The event went off without injury and serious violations of safety.
