Kirov Department of the Russian Section of IPA for Children!

In the period from June 7th to June 12th several international sports events for children and adults were held in the sport centre “AquaLoo” in Sochi. Members of Kirov Department of the Russian Section of IPA Vladimir Reshetnikov, Valery Degtyarev, Anna Nagimova and Ekaterina Serkina took part in the organization of weightlifting Europe Championship “Olympia VI”. The total number of the Championship participants was 17 countries.

In the 3rd national pressing-marathon for children “Father, mother, me are a pressing family” took part families from 7 cities of Russia and “Beach sport marathon” was also organized for them. Teams of Kirov children and youth centre, Kirov Invalid organization and Sovetsk boarding school for children with reduced capabilities took part in the sports events as representatives of Kirov region. The children didn`t just participate in the Championship but won awards, goblets, certificates and medals.  

It was a festival of physical training, sport, childhood, joy, happy, warm sea and mountain. Each child took with them impressions of attendance of Aqua Park, singing fountain, Olympic park, Olympic facilities and charity festival dinner.

Sochi will be waiting for us next year and we`ll rise to a challenge again!
