On the 16^th of July 2011 on Saturday Kirov Regional IPA organized a day of rest for the members and their families in one of the most remarkable parts of the Vyatka region, where the wondrous beauty is combined with the amazing health-giving mineral springs, in a uploads/imagesque peninsula of the forest river Bystrica in 46 km from the city of Kirov, in holiday center “Vyatskie Uvaly”. The event brought together more than 200 people. Aleksey Gankin, the President of Russian Section International Police Association, was attending there too.

There was volleyball tournament, lifting weights tournament, archery and crossbow shooting competitions. Also, all the guest were not only able to rest from the dust, exhausting fumes and smoking pipes of the city, but they also had a chance to fish, boat and ride catamaran, try field kitchen and communicate with colleagues in an informal setting. It was difficult to identify the winners in the competitions, as there was a record number of participants. The price places in archery competitions were following: Karandin Oleg – the first place, Kuznetsov Andrey – the secondand third place was divided by Krotov Mikhail and Koshkin Roman. In the crossbow shooting competitions the awardees were Kolpakov Viktor, Kondratenko Pavel, Tobolin Oleg Konovalov Sergey, Smirnov, Sergey, Agalakova Elena and Kondratenko Elena. The best weightlifters were Hlusyanov Oleg, Kazakov Ivan and Shagaev Yuriy. All the participants liked the competitions very much, since such events are not only a kind of active rest with a family on the nature, but they also consolidate colleagues.

We thank everyone for participating in competitions. And we also express gratitude to Yuriy  Odnoshivkin, the director of “Vyatskie Uvaly”, who gave us the possibility of holding our tournaments in this fabulous resort place.
