26 March 2012
On March 23, 2012 Kirov regional Russian Section of IPA welcomed for the second time foreign guests — fans of a strange game which is called Broomball (hockey with a “broom”). This time the ice playground gathered 31 persons — representatives of ten countries: Germany, the USA, Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland and Belgium.
Two mixed teams participated in this match; the girls didn’t surrender the boys in dexterity and skills. In Kirov they played one hour, three periods by 20 minutes. During this time, viewers watched a lot of hockey nuances such as scathing attacks, curious collision and falls. And ofcours there were goals. The weather was sunny and a little bit frosty that promoted to the game and further outdoor activities.
25 players from 8 countries participated last year; this tendency of growing number of guests can’t please, as it is the indicator of excellent results of the organization of delegation’s reception.
