The 65th Congress of the International Police Association,

The 65th Congress of the International Police Association, consisting of 69 countries of the world, of which the Russian section has been a member since 1992, was held in Lloret-de-Mar, part of the Costa Brava, in Spain from October 4 to 9, 2022. Despite the initiative of Ukraine, the Netherlands and Belgium, which spoke in favor of the exclusion of the Russian organization and the composition of the international police community, the majority of the 41 countries out of the 61 present at the vote were against the exclusion. Thus, the Russian section retained its presence in this authoritative event.
