On February 3, the opening of the International Friendship Center took place at the Kirov Agricultural Academy

The solemn event was attended by:
- State Duma Deputy Maria Butina;
- Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal, General Jean Baptiste T. Tin and his wife;
- Attache of the Embassy of the Republic of Senegal, Lieutenant Colonel Orthance Mendy;
- Nikolay Koshcheev, President of the KRSO "Police Association".
The opening of the Center provides for strengthening international relations and will help to increase the tourist and economic attractiveness of the Kirov region.
