On May 18-23, 2025, Tokyo hosted a Conference of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, organized by the International Police Association (IPA), which was attended by representatives of 11 states, including a delegation from the Russian Section of the IPA. At a reception with the Tokyo Police Commissioner General, Sakoda Yuzdi, the participants got acquainted in detail with the work of the police at the central communications control center. The Chief of the Metropolitan Police paid much attention to the delegates and noted the positive work of the IPA in Japan. The delegates visited the Imperial Palace and the police and security service on the territory of the complex, which was closed from public display.
