A non-profit organization Foundation for Support and Development of Sports "Federation of kettlebell lifting of the Kirov region"  together with the commission for the prevention of juvenile delinquency in the Public Council of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kirov held  II tournament on kettlebell lifting for the Day of Cosmonautics in the honor of the Soviet cosmonaut twice Hero of the Soviet Union Viktor Petrovich Savin.Viktor Petrovich more than 9 years is a member of the AOC WPA IPA and actively participates in the activities of the association.

The tournament was attended by 18 teams of 11 people. In the majority they are children of  boarding-schools, children's rehabilitation centers for  minor children of Kirov, the center of family and social support to children and other institutions where are children of antisocial parents,  parents who are in prison, parents deprived of parental rights, parents with no  permanent home , children from families of fallen difficult situation  of Kirov and the Kirov region.

Children lifted  kettle balls  4 kg, 6 kg, 8 kg, 10 kg, 12 kg, 16 kg, adults - 12kg,16kg, 20kg, 22kg, 24 kg , depending on the level of preparedness of each athlete with the regulations of 10 minutes.

In the team standings:

the first placement – children of Fileyskoy boarding – school of Phalenky region

the second placement –convicted FКUIК 11 ,who were in absentia

the third placement - guests from the Tatarstan Republic

the fourth placement - Beloholunitskaya School – Boarding

the fifth placement - Kirov-Chepetsky club for children "Ynost"

   Athletes, who won first placements were awarded with medals with balerefom of cosmonaut twice Hero of the Soviet Union V. P. Savinykh.

More than 90 athletes were given transcripts and baby bit icons corresponding degrees III, II, I –which caused  elation.

   In the marathon with  kettle ball  with the regulations of the time 108 minutes appeared 5 athletes.

   Champion was the representative of the Kirov branch WPA IPA Berdinskih Nicholas, who was  born in 1967(kettle ball  18 kg, result 2149 times , was lifted 38 682kg).
