Celebration of the Fatherland Defender Day!

On February 24, 2018 KROO « Police Association» gathered its friends for the annual celebration of the Fatherland Defender Day. The event was held near the village Mitino, on the Vorobyovy Ponds.

The celebration was attended by the representatives of executive and legislative authorities of the Kirov region, heads of law enforcement and controlling structures of the region.

Addressing the audience, the dignitaries of the event congratulated everyone on the anniversary of the Armed Forces of Russia and the Fatherland Defender Day, noted the importance of the event for the promotion of the healthy lifestyle and wished everyone a victory in sport competitions.

For the guests of the event there were organized different contests for snowmobile cross-country, bench- press, tug-of-war.

In addition, the reconstruction of the military battle of the Great Patriotic War period was again carried out. A real soldier's porridge from the field canteen did not leave anyone indifferent!

The organizers of the event have not spared the young residents of the region, who nowadays especially need positive emotions, attention and concern. The children from the All-Russian Society of the Blind, as well as from the boarding school of the town Sovetsk, came to the festival. All the guys got gifts and unforgettable impressions! An important part of the holiday was the presentation of a wheelchair from the John the Divine Wheelchair Charitable Fund to the winner of the Russian bench-press contest - Vlad Cherepanov, a student of Sovetsk boarding school!
