On the 1st and 2nd of May Kirov regional branch of IPA with Koscheev Nicolay Vitalyevich as the head organized the Billiard turnery devoted to the Victory Day. This event took place in cultural and entertaining center “Noviy Mir”. More then one hundred persons took part in it. They all are members of the association. Most of them are skillful players, such as Bykov Vladimir Vasilyevich, Rozuvan Aleksey Mikhailovich, Pimenov Evgeniy Vasilyevich, Lobzanov Sergey Ivanovich.
Our townsman the member of Kirov branch of IPA cosmonaut Victor Petrovich Savinyh was among the visitors. His wife Lilia Alekseevna accompanied him. As Victor Petrovich said the turnery was organized on a high level.
The competition was held in 2 groups. Viewers could hardly guess who the winner would be. The participants were skillful players and real masters. On the last day the following players entered the semi-final: Evdokimov Vladimir Ivanovich, Zimnich Alexander Vladimirovich, Guryanov Andrey Vasileyvich, Mamaev Anatoliy Dmitrievich, Semushin Alexander Georgievich, Karandin Oleg Alekseevich, Sheshunov Igor Vyacheslavovich, Balyberdin Sergey Alexandrovich. But the final was reached by absolute masters. The 3d and 4th places got Bykov Vladimir Vasilyevich, Kolpakov Viktor Nikolaevich, Harin Vladimir Iosifovich and Rukavishnikov Nikolai Aleksandrovich. The 1st and 2nd places were given to Pimenov Evgeniy Vasilyevich and Lobzanov Sergey Ivanovich in the 1st group, Shkaredny Vasiliy Alexandrovich and Kuznecov Andrey Viktorovich in the 2nd group.
All participants were given presents, such as audio system, DVD, coffee machine and so on.
This event became a heart-warming tradition and gathered lot of billiard amateurs every year. Now for IPA members it is a resort for meetings with friends, colleagues, comrades. |
