The Russian billiards – is one of the most beautiful games existing in the modern world. The traditional spring billiard tournament  took place at the long-awaited May weekends in the club named “Noviy mir”. As usual, this sport event was confined to the celebration of the Victory Day. 32 Russian pyramid fans dared to give a challenge to the fate. The serenity and refined intelligence of taking aim, confidence and accuracy of each hand motion, the ability to anticipate the opponent next move – all these united the competitors.

Alexey Rozuvan the honorary president of the Association traditionally opened the event. Alexey Mikhailovich began his speech with congratulation on the most important holiday - Victory Day and also wished luck to all participants. Vladimir Bykov the Mayor of Kirov city and Sergey Smirnov also welcomed the contestants. Then the big holiday of Billiards began!

As a result of two-day-long resistance, the winners in their playing groups became:

1 group: 1 place –S. Lobzanov, 2 pl. – N. Efremov, 3 pl. – S. Garusov , 4 pl. – E. Pimenov

2 group: 1 pl. – G. Bukhanevich, 2 pl. – A. Ovchinnikov , 3 pl. – M. Krotov, 4 pl. – S. Petukhov

3 group: 1pl. – V. Kornilov, 2 pl. – V. Zaytsev, 3 pl. – O. Karandin, 4 pl. – A. Davydov                                                             

N. Zverkovich was awarded with the will to win cup.
